Get outside to go inside on this unique Hiking and Haiku experience.
Join Leslie St. John of Prose and Poses and Sarah Hawkins of Course Care for a soulful adventure in our own backyard. On this led hike in Reservoir Canyon, we will connect to our bodies to open creativity and practice writing Haiku poetry. Hiking can awaken our senses, and poetry helps us capture experiences. Haiku is an ancient form of poetry that originated in Japan. Haiku is a wonderful way to sensitize to the present moment and make art that captures a mood and moment in time.
Join us for this moving meditation of Hiking and Haiku!
(Some hiking experience encouraged - the trail is 3.2 miles round trip with 600 ft. of elevation gain.)
